This bag is one of the earliest Classic Flaps ever produced, dating from 1983–1984, when Karl Lagerfeld transformed Chanel's iconic 2.55 into the Classic Flap. It features the newly introduced CC turn-lock while retaining the all-metal chain of the 2.55, before the leather-interwoven chain became standard. This unique combination makes it one of the rarest and most collectible early Classic Flaps.
